Pixel Perfect Pixel Perfect was formed in 2000 by a group of Australia's leading photographers and colour management specialists. After nearly seven years producing digitally retouched or compiled images for my clients, and always seeking perfect colour from screen to print, we became so dissatisfied with the cavalier attitudes toward colour management by the labs that were processing our work that, in desperation, we decided to open our own lab in May of 2000. Has photography lost it's identity and Is graphic art hijacking photography? I am not making any comparison between photography and graphic art, nor am I saying that photography is of it's nature better then graphic art. However, whilst I see both as dynamic visual media I believe they should each remain discrete.
Photography uses light to reproduce the likeness of an object whereby the graphic artist aims to communicate something specific using all manner of visual devices and enhancements. Read More ... Story by Stephen Wark, photo by Saintz Image - Posted: Tuesday, February 16, 2010 1:05 pm |

Hello I have a question. My name is Chad and I have been doing photography for about 6 years now. for 5 years I just did normal portraits. Nothing sexy or nude at all. This last year I have been beginning to experiment more with the lingerie and artistic nude styles. My main problem though is finding models who are willing to pose in such a manner. I would say about 98% of the women that I have talked to are not willing to at all. Are there any pointers that you can give me, or maybe better places to look? I have a profile on here and onemodelplace as well.
Very Respectfully,
Chad Duren Read More ... Posted: Monday, January 11, 2010 9:53 pm - 1 opinion posted |

Finding Work Experience with a Photographer. Over the years I have had in the vicinity of 30 or so students and budding photographers approach me to be my assistance or to asist me on a shoot, which I am happy to do on one condition, we both get something out of it. Most who approach me think that if I take them on a shoot, whether it be a wedding, commercial or model shoot, that by them assisting me that I have receice something in return; in a word "Wakeup". I have years and years of experience that I will only part with if there is something in it for me. Assisting me on a shoot will not cut it. Read More ...
